The Large Betty

I finally finished the large Betty bag!  Yah for me!  I have been working on this bag for a while.  I love the material for this bag but I can't find it anywhere now.  I hope to special order it from a fabric store.

I put an optional closure on this bag and it turned out really cute.  This bag is perfect to use as a diaper bag or an overnight bag....very universal!

Mostly Onesies!!

I have been so busy!!! ...which is great of course.  I have been making tons of appliqued onesies and a few shirts.  I did have to take a break this weekend to enjoy the beautiful weather on Sunday.  I can't wait for spring!  Anyways, back to the onesies...they are $12 each and the shirts (up to 6x) are $14 each.  I can make applique shirts in larger sizes but the prices vary for those.  Here are some examples of my work.  Don't forget to check out Maggie Rose Designs on Facebook to see more design options.

Burp Cloth Weekend

Well, this weekend started out as a purse weekend.  I was planning to finish an order for a large Betty bag but ended up learning how to make burp cloths.  A friend from high school ordered two burp clothes from Maggie Rose Designs on Facebook....you should go check that out.  It is a local business so you need to search under pages.  The burp cloths are $7.00 each.  I can also make onesies and bibs to match.

Finally Some Pictures!

I have been busy working on some new things but I finally have some pictures to post. I have made two styles of bags/ purses that can be made in different color fabric.  The first bag I made is going to be called the "Betty" bag because Betty purchased the first one!  A big "thanks" to Betty for that!!!  The small Betty bag (in the pictures) sells for $15.  I have a request to make a large Betty bag to be used as a "catch-all" diaper bag and a request to make a "Betty" bag to be used to hold a laptop. 

 The second bag that I made does not have a name yet...someone needs to buy one!  It is a hobo style bag and cynches closed with a ribbon.  This bag is $20.

Slow Going.

So, I am having a hard time getting used to this blogging thing.  I am not familiar with it yet, but I have created a Facebook page for Maggie Rose Designs where I am displaying some of my work.  You can see the different appliques that I have for shirts on my Facebook page.  I have taken pictures of some things I have made but I still need to get the photos uploaded.  I hope to get this done very soon.  Have a great weekend!

First Timer!

I am new to this whole blogging thing, but I thought I might give it a try.  I have created this blog to hopefully generate some buzz about my new business adventure.  I have started a crafting business and this is where I will post my creations.  So far I only have a few items that I have completed and I hope to post pictures of these soon.
